My last days in Santorini can be summed up in one quote:
“Your true traveler finds boredom rather agreeable than
painful. It is the symbol of his liberty—his excessive freedom. He accepts his
boredom, when it comes, not merely philosophically, but almost with pleasure.”
–Aldous Huxley
I have enjoyed a welcome boredom—days filled with
undemanding and acceptable nothingness, poolside lounging, beach bumming,
supermarkets and simple dinners
And this is what I have to look forward to in Marmaris.
