I have about 42 hours before I head out for the most unplanned and unorganized adventure of my life. Seven days ago, I bought a plane ticket to Europe, and seven days later, I have a grand total of one couch to sleep on upon arrival.
For the sake of making this one of the most unforgettable journeys I could venture, I'm leaving Planning Jaimie in Oregon, and will openly embrace the role of Carefree, Spontaneous, Free-spirited Traveler. And as I gladly accept this version of myself, I still, however, feel it's necessary to sort out just a few things.
Thus, my to-do list for Friday, the day before I leave:
1. Buy:
* Type G Adapter
* Protein Bars
* Travel shampoos
* Travel toothpaste
2. Pack
3. Book hostels to stay at
4. Figure out where I wanna go so I can actually book hostels
5. Do laundry to help process of #2
6. Learn as much as possible about London/Ireland
7. Create a travel playlist
8. Pick up backpack
9. Say goodbye to my family (they are not taking me to the airport) :(
Now, it's 2:40 am and I've managed to do everything in the world besides everything that I need to do (including the creation of this blog). Tomorrow (or today, rather) will be serious business.
Sincerely,
Jaimie Nicole
This is Frazzled Planning Jaimie.
