Allow Life

Life happens.
It does. Your heart breaks. And those days, the hours—they ruin you.
You cry, not because you want to, but because your heart refuses your only wish:
to forget.
You cry, because it’s better to feel it.

Life happens because we need it to. It happens because how else would life,
/ with a lower case 'l' /
happen?
How else would you become that person?
Not the girl from
or a month ago,
or even yesterday.

Or.
Today.
Because Life happened today. And your heart won’t allow it to be easy.

Ease
comes with knowing that you deserve to become better because of
this.

Your heart does allow that.
So,
allow it.
